The serial killer isn’t on trial.
He’s on the jury…
They were Hollywood’s hottest power couple. They had the world at their feet. Now one of them is dead and Hollywood star Robert Solomon is charged with the brutal murder of his beautiful wife.
This is the celebrity murder trial of the century and the defence want one man on their team: con artist turned lawyer Eddie Flynn.
All the evidence points to Robert’s guilt, but as the trial begins a series of sinister incidents in the court room start to raise doubts in Eddie’s mind.
What if there’s more than one actor in the courtroom?
What if the killer isn’t on trial? What if the killer is on the jury?
I love a good detective book! This is book #4 in the series. I didn’t know that when I bought this book, but it made me want to read the others. Just adding more to my TBR! Thanks Steve Cavanagh!
I’ve always enjoyed fictional books about serial killers, but this one takes the cake.
Robert/Bobby Solomon is charged with murdering his wife and head of security when he found them in bed together. He claims he’s innocent, but he’s hiding something. Something that would ruin his Hollywood career.
Eddie Flynn is trying to get out of the game to please his estranged wife, but he gets pulled into Bobby’s case. I thought Eddie’s character was very likable. He had a rough past, but was trying to do good by his clients. He’s made a lot of enemies along the way, including cops.
The serial killer, Kane is borderline brilliant. The way he left the clues on a dollar bill, his calling card. I even learned something about money while reading this book!
This was a page turner for me. I loved the way all the clues started coming together, and that Eddie pulled in a former FBI Agent who then pulled in her connections. Police and FBI procedurals have always been fascinating to me.
I loved the twists the author threw in. Kane had someone on the inside, but you didn’t know who. When that was revealed, it was shocking! I was never right on who the inside person was which made even more suspenseful!
This book is available now.
Book Rating: 🍷🍷🍷🍷
For the grand finale would pair nicely with The Collection.
