September was a pretty good month for reading.  Not the best month, but not the worst.  I read some really great books, and some I thought would be better.  That’s the way it goes in the reading world!

The Chain ~ 4 🍷 This book was fast paced and kept me turning the pages until late into the night.  Some may shy away from this one because in order to save your child, you have to take someone else’s child.

The Stranger Inside ~ 5🍷 I loved this book so much! Again there are trigger warnings such a the kidnapping and murder of a child.  This is a new to me author, and I will be picking up her older books after reading this page turner.

Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating ~ 5🍷 I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the magnificent duo known as Christina Lauren can do no wrong in my reading world. I have loved everything I have read by them! Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

29 Seconds ~ 4🍷 Another page turner about a woman who has a decision to make, and she makes the biggest one of her life in a short 29 Seconds.  If you could get rid of someone forever, who would it be?

Dear Wife ~ 3🍷 This is one of those books I expected more from. Don’t get me wrong it did have some good twists to get, but not enough to get it out of a 3🍷 range.

How Sweet The Bitter Soup 4🍷 This is a big rating for me because I’m not one to gravitate towards a memoir, but this was different.  I would highly recommend.

The Furies ~ 3🍷 If I had to go back, I would probably only give this one 2 🍷.  While it’s comparable to The Craft Movie, there were times I was so lost.  I was disappointed with this one, but just because it wasn’t for me, doesn’t mean it’s not for you.

Evvie Drake Starts Over ~ 3🍷 A little less baseball talk and ALOT more romance needed for this one.

Stolen Things ~ 4🍷 Fast paced, bone chilling page turning suspenseful book.  Some say this was kind of predictable, but I did not see that end coming!

Little Voices ~3🍷 While I love a good murder investigation, this one got to a point where I got bored.  Just solve the case already!

I’m pretty excited for October because of all the thrillers coming out! Not to mention it’s the perfect month to read all the thrillers!
