Freshly dried herbs follow, woven around a mesh of tomato puree, celeriac and anise. Medium-bodied, deftly proportioned. Red licorice, sour-cherry, blackcurrant pastille…converging to a pomegranate acid ‘bite’ on the finish. Tannins – fine and elongated, classy. Background oak, with just a faint suggestion of cedar.
